HELLO…

from one pastor’s wife to another… ministry is messy.

in my years of ministry- not many outside of ministry truly get it. last night sitting in the hospital with family as they hear grave news for the first time, to turn around and rejoice that the friend we’ve been praying for is finally coming to youth group tonight!

we weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice, and at the end of the day we tuck our littles into bed and say bedtime prayers as if the weight of the world isn’t busting at the door. not a weight we wish to put down, but one we know the gravity of stewarding it and sometimes long for others who also know that heaviness.

if i can step into that mess with you simply to pray over you and the beautiful work that God has called you to, i would be beyond honored! i believe with everything i have that being prayed with and for can change everything.

i also believe firmly that in the toughest of days, having someone to remind you of God’s goodness and walk with you back to the foot of the throne changes everything.

A poster taped on a weathered, peeling wall with the message 'Good news is coming' in bold black letters.

Can i pray with you?

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of him.”
